  I drove from Battle Creek to get here. A 35 minute drive. I was in the office for about 6 hours, which I expected to be, so that wasn’t a big deal. The problem started when the doctor prescribed me pain meds without putting my name on the prescription. Of course I didn’t notice until I drove all the way back to Battle Creek to drop my prescription off & they were not able to fill it. I contacted planned parenthood & they told me that I would have to drive all the way back to the office to get another prescription. They were not able to fax this prescription to me or my pharmacy. So, I drove (in pain) 35 mins to Kalamazoo to get this prescription. This time, I actually read the paper before leaving the office, just to see that they put the wrong birthday on the prescription. They made me wait an extra 20 mins before they brung out the prescription with the right information on it. A week later I had to go back for a blood draw. There were 2 other women waiting in the lobby when I arrived & I waited for an hr & 30mins just to get my blood drawn. They told me that they would be getting back with me within 24-48 hours to give me my results. They never contacted me within this 48 hour time frame so I contacted them, just for them to tell me that they didn’t have my information & took my number down so they could call me back. They called me 2 days later with my results. My experience was horrible! The staff were really nice though

  Amazing staff and customer service! They really work with you when you don't have insurance. They charged me according to my income and that helped so much! Sometimes you have to wait longer than you would like but it's worth it when you are able to get quality care for an affordable price. When I was there I did see a guy that was VERY upset because the people at the front window wouldn't tell him what was going on with his girlfriend/wife. He was yelling and cussing. The lady at the window was so professional in telling him that she couldn't tell him anything because of patient confidentiality and privacy. Although he was being very rude, I was happy to know that MY information was private also and that they would also refuse to tell anyone, no matter who it is, anything about me or my care. It was good to see that they were obeying the law in that circumstance! I wouldn't hesitate to tell any of my friends or family to go to this clinic!

  Staff work very hard. Advice is valuable, appropriate, and potentially life saving. Facilities very clean and private. Wait times due to lack of staff (read "funding") = you need to schedule accordingly. Services rendered are professional and considerate.
